I believe there’s something extremely cathartic about sharing your deepest secrets with the ocean. Watching the words you were too scared to say bob and sway to the whims of the tide.
If you’re reading this, it’s been a while. A very long while since we last spoke. Months, maybe even years. And it’s my fault. Continue reading
Have you ever listened to a song and remembered the first time you heard it play? Or looked at an outfit and recalled your exact feelings when you bought it?
If we were grabbing a cup of coffee, I’d be the one sitting at a little table in the corner. Hands wrapped tightly around a cup of hot chocolate. Staring at the falling rain, I’d contemplate all the things I need to tell you. Continue reading
I’ve been trying to stretch my creative writing muscles recently so a friend sent me this writing prompt for fun. It’s funny what your brain can come up with when you give it a free rein. Enjoy!

Guest blogging is something that has been on my mind for a while now but I’ve been hesitant to try it. Each time I considered taking the plunge, operational questions would plague me. How would I go about it? What would I write about? Who would I choose to partner with? Would they like my tone of voice or would it not gel with theirs? Would my ideas seem too basic? For a novice blogger, the entire process can seem quite daunting.
Thankfully, the perfect opportunity fell into my lap. Amelia – a blogger I’ve thoroughly enjoyed visiting over the last few months – recently asked if anyone would like to participate in a Christmas series she was doing – Tis the Season. With Christmas being my favorite time of the year, there was just no good reason for me not to say yes. So I took the plunge and hopefully, the post will speak for itself.
